# About Me

Bethany is a backend engineer who firmly believes that Go is proof that sometimes less really is more—and that the best error handling is the kind you actually write. By day, she wrangles GPUs and LLMs at GitHub, helping developers unlock the power of AI in their workflows.

She’s the co-host of Overcommitted, a podcast where software engineers who met as new hires at GitHub now discuss the beautiful chaos of tech careers, developer culture, and the art of saying “yes” to too many things.

When she’s not coding or tweaking her dotfiles, you can find her reading, dogspotting, or cheering on the Carolina Panthers. She lives in Charlotte, NC with her spouse and an ever-growing list of side projects she swears she’ll finish someday.
